Specifications

Liebert® CROSS Chassis ensures maximum reliability to critical loads by eliminating system failures that are caused by problems in distribution rather than by the failure of the power source itself. The advanced control logic of Liebert CROSS Chassis provides the load with the highest safety through the 'break before make' (BBM) switching device which is available in any mode of operation and with any kind of load. Liebert CROSS Chassis can be fully customized according to customers’ load and environmental requirements. Available in 160-450 A, Liebert CROSS Chassis is delivered with both three-phase input and three-phase output.

Features

Liebert® CROSS Chassis ensures redundant power to critical loads through its ability to switch between two independent alternative power sources
Fixed priority mode of operation: Liebert® CROSS Chassis will transfer the load to the chosen priority power line whenever its parameters fall within certain values always in accordance to the users selection
The no priority mode allows Liebert® CROSS Chassis to consider both lines to be equally acceptable
The BBM modality on both poles, ensures that the two sources will never be directly connected
Liebert® CROSS Chassis ensures switching between independent AC power sources in both synchronous and asynchronous conditions, relative to the input waveforms and within CBEMA guidelines
Emergency switching, allowing the transfer to take place within milliseconds
Downstream short-circuit recognition, caused by loads or distributions
